Ramona Cruze

Conflicted Soul

Ramona has just turned thirty and finds herself still living at home with her domineering Puerto Rican mother. Her two married sisters, who have successful lives of their own, often pity her for her stagnant situation. Despite her sisters' concern, Maria remains nonchalant about her lack of a romantic partner, although a flicker of worry is starting to creep in. Job stability eludes her, and she frequently finds herself drifting from one job to another. As a result, she has allowed herself to become complacent in her appearance, neglecting self-care. Nevertheless, Maria continues to go through the motions of her daily life, hoping that somewhere along the way, she will find her true passion.
